NH Parma

NH Parma is a modern four-star hotel set in the architectural complex designed by Oriol Bohigas right next to Parma railway station, opened in 2014. The location is ideal for anyone arriving by train, and the historic centre, with the Cathedral, the Baptistery, Palazzo della Pilotta and the Teatro Regio, is roughly a ten-minute walk away.

The 120 rooms are spread over seven floors and are all soundproofed, featuring parquet floors, taupe and teal tones, a 42-inch flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, individually controlled air conditioning and Sleep Better mattresses. Guests can choose between Standard rooms, Superior rooms (some with a terrace) and Junior Suites with a sofa bed that also suit families; in the Superior rooms and suites, portraits of Giuseppe Verdi recall the musical heritage of the area.

The day starts with a generous breakfast buffet of pastries, fruit, cheeses and cold cuts. The restaurant serves Italian cuisine featuring local specialities such as Parmigiano Reggiano, Parma ham and culatello, while the bar offers drinks and light meals. Room service and a 24-hour front desk complete the offer.

The hotel has a small gym free for guests, a sixth-floor terrace, a paid indoor garage and eight bright meeting rooms, the largest seating up to 200 people. Dogs and cats up to 25 kg are welcome on request, making it a practical choice for business trips, cultural weekends and stays with your pet.
